백호는 우리나라를 대표하는 수호동물입니다.
올림픽의 든든한 친구 수호랑의 이름은 올림픽에 참가하는 선수, 참가자,
관중들에 대한 보호를 의미하는 수호(Sooho)와, 호랑이와 강원도 정선아리랑을
상징하는 랑(rang)을 담고 있습니다.
